Sunbelt Rentals: Ground-Up Commercial CMU Block Construction in El Mirage

Father & Son Masonry took on the full-scale commercial masonry construction of the Sunbelt Rentals facility in El Mirage, AZ — a demanding ground-up build that showcases our team’s capacity to deliver large commercial projects from foundation to finish. The project began with precision excavation and rebar foundation work, with our crew installing extensive steel reinforcement grids to establish a structurally sound base capable of supporting a heavy-duty commercial operations facility. Working across multiple phases and in varying weather conditions, our masons maintained consistent quality and pace throughout the entire build.

The construction required hundreds of courses of CMU (concrete masonry unit) block, laid with precision across expansive perimeter walls, interior dividing structures, and the main building facade. Aerial lift equipment was deployed to reach upper wall sections safely, while pump trucks handled large-volume concrete pours at sunset and into early morning hours to meet the project timeline. The completed Sunbelt Rentals facility stands as a testament to Father & Son Masonry’s ability to manage complex, large-footprint commercial builds with the manpower, equipment, and expertise to get the job done right.
